Bio: Becky L. Gnuse, 67 years, of Arlington, Nebraska died Friday, October 4, 2013 at her home. She was born June 8, 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of the Rev. Ben and Ninna (Schultz) Engskow.
She moved with her family from Geneva, Minnesota to Fresno, California, Ruskin, Nebraska and Belgrade, Minnesota. She was a 1964 graduate of Belgrade High School. She moved to Blair in 1964 and attended Dana College for one year and then moved to Arlington. She graduated from Bahner Beauty School in Fremont, Nebraska in 1968. Becky married Eugene Gnuse on June 17, 1967 at Pella Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked as a beautician for several years prior to her staying home to raise their children. She managed and did maintenance on several rental properties. She also was the Cemetery Sexton for Arlington Cemetery for the last 10 years.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; son, Trevor both of Arlington; daughter, Danielle Hutchison of Fremont; brother, Robert and wife, Rosie Engskow of Marcos Island, Florida; grandson, Taylor Hutchison of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2013 at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with family being present from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Private graveside services will be in Arlington Cemetery at a later date with Chaplain James Jost officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Nebraska.
